Job Description
As a member of the Snaubar Lebanese Cuisine & Lounge Kitchen staff, you will be expected to prepare food items in accordance to high production requirements and stringent quality standards

Responsibilities Include:
  • Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards
  • Schedule production of food according to approved procedures and portion control methods.
  • Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare over estimated needs.
  • Date all food containers and rotate as per standard, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
  • Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up. Note any out-of stock items or possible shortages.
  • Return all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables.
Preferred Skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Continuous standing and/or walking during shift. Frequent bending to lift items and supplies. Lifting, pulling, and carrying up to 50lbs.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be able to read and write
- Requires strong organizational skills
- Ability to safely operate and clean equipment
- Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, quality standards, high regard to sanitation and safety

EXPERIENCE:
Must have 1-2 yrs of previous industry experience.
